Columbus police investigate Friday night shooting at Leigh Mall

SUMMARY: A shooting occurred at Leigh in Columbus, Mississippi, on Friday night, leaving one man . The incident started with an argument between two inside Rue 21. One of the men, Roy Wallace III, retrieved a pistol from his truck while the other, Coercion Hairston, got into a Camaro. Wallace opened the door to the Camaro, and Hairston pulled out an AR- rifle. The two men struggled over the weapon, resulting in Wallace being shot in the hand. Both weapons were later found in the Camaro. No charges have been filed as the investigation is ongoing.

Fourth suspect arrested for 2023 Port Gibson homicide

Earlier arrests include Robert Mays and Natasha McDaniel, the victim's wife, both charged with first-degree murder, and Justin Bailey, who was arrested in February 2023.
