2 women charged after boy found wandering
SUMMARY: The selection date for the committee has not been announced yet. There are new developments in the case of a five-year-old found wandering in a Jackson neighborhood a week ago. Tamara Silas appeared in Jackson Municipal Court and was released on an “unsecured bond”, meaning she has to pay $5,000 if she fails to appear in court. Her mother, Emily Silas, was also in the courtroom. Tamara's public defender claimed that her mother was in charge of watching the child and that Tamara was asleep at the time of the child's disappearance.
