Young adults with disabilities given hands-on look into jobs in community
SUMMARY: The City of Bay St. Louis and the USM Institute for Disability Studies have put on a Rehabilitation Services Deputy Administrator event, hoping to guide and train students. Kevin Bishop, from the Department of Rehabilitation Services, mentions the event emphasizes inclusivity and the importance of making it known that today is National Wear Red Day. The event also marks an opportunity to explore different career paths and learn essential skills, aiming to encourage students to think about their future beyond just obtaining a job. Students from Bay High School also attended the event and expressed their positive experiences at the exhibit.
Young adults and Bay St. Louis High School students with disabilities were given an amazing opportunity on Friday.

McInnis 12 Bone BBQ celebrates National Barbecue Month

Temperatures will remain above seasonal norms, reaching a high of 84 degrees with partly cloudy skies. Winds will be gusty, and the potential for severe weather is being monitored.
