SUMMARY: M-DOT crews are getting ready for overnight treatment of Pine Belt bridges and overpasses, starting around 10 pm when the temperature turns freezing. The workers will then work their way south throughout the night and into the morning hours. As of now, no road closures are expected during the treatment. Rock salt will be placed on bridges and overpasses tonight to prevent the salt from washing away. Those traveling early tomorrow morning may catch the M-DOT mobile unit in action, beginning in the northern part of the district near Jones County.

Mother of fallen Monroe County deputy upset after someone stole items from son's grave
