William “Polo” Edwards denied bond in murder case
SUMMARY: William “Polo” Edwards has been denied bond in connection to a murder case in Clinton, Mississippi. Hinds County Circuit Court Judge Faye Peterson ruled that Edwards presents a danger to the community and is a flight risk. Edwards' attorneys had requested a bond hearing after a mistrial was declared in the case, but the judge denied their request. Edwards is accused of killing Robert Davis inside a home in May 2022 and was arrested after a chase in New Orleans. A new trial date has been set for March 11, 2024.
