SUMMARY: An 11-year-old boy, Aderrien Murry, was shot by an Indianola police officer last May. Attorney Carlos Moore stated that two officers showed up to Nakala Murry's home looking for the father of one of Nakala's children. As the video shows, Nakala Murry walked out of the home with her hands up, and Sgt. Capers walked into the living room looking for the man. Aderrien Murry rushed out into the living room before being shot. Aderrien survived and his family filed a federal lawsuit seeking 5 million in compensatory and punitive damages. The team's ability to support each other and finish the game strong was praised by their coach. They advance to the regional final with confidence and pride.

The Mississippi College softball team is one win away from the NCAA Division II Super Regionals. The Choctaws held off Tampa for a 6-3 on Friday afternoon
