VIDEO: Severe weather sweeps across North Mississippi on Wednesday

SUMMARY: Severe thunderstorms caused damage in parts of North Mississippi. Sammy Robuck of WTVA shares some of the photos of the damage caused by the storm. Many people sent in pictures and videos of the storm, including a shelf cloud over Lafayette County and lightning in Chickasaw County. SUMMARY: Graduation season is here, a special day for students celebrating their hard work and achievement. WTV Jake White reported live from the ICC campus in Tupelo, where the energy was incredible. Graduates expressed happiness at finally walking across the stage after years of hard work. The event was packed with new grads and their loved ones at the Davis Event Center. Some graduates shared their feelings of accomplishment and gratitude towards their teachers and peers. State House speaker Jason White also congratulated the graduates. Overall, it was a day of celebration and pride for all the college graduates.

Students from the Itawamba Community College graduated on Friday.

SUMMARY: Over 200 third graders from New Albany Elementary and East Union Attendance Center in Union County went on a downtown tour to visit local businesses and learn about different occupations. The annual school field trip gave students the opportunity to understand the roles that businesses play in their community. They visited various establishments to gain insights into different jobs and the importance of each business in the area. The tour allowed the students to connect classroom learning to real-world experiences and explore the diverse career opportunities available in their community.
