SUMMARY: The Boys and Girls Club of Northeast Mississippi held their biggest fundraiser of the year called “Dance Like the Stars”. The event took place at the Cadence Bank Arena and raised a total of $241,488. Ten dancers from the area had been practicing for months to help raise money for the club’s expenses. Alyssa Martin, a member of the club, even served as one of the hosts for the evening. Competitor Carol Ferris expressed the importance of supporting the Boys and Girls Club, which provides children with opportunities in athletics, education, and the arts. Sierra Cannon was recognized as the dancer who raised the most funds with over $57,000.

The Boy’s and Girl’s Club of Northeast Mississippi hosted its biggest fundraiser of the year Saturday night. Dance Like the Stars is a widely popular event for people across Mississippi.
