Two people charged in connection to an infant’s death
SUMMARY: In Houston, Mississippi, Marquis Fountain and Osheuna Reese were arrested for the capital murder and felonious child abuse of a three-month-old infant. Fountain faces additional charges of aggravated domestic violence. On November 13th, police responded to a domestic violence incident and discovered the critically injured baby, who was rushed to Le Bonheur Hospital in Memphis. The baby suffered from broken ribs, bruising, bleeding, brain swelling, and a spinal injury, and died six days later. The investigation into the incident remains active.
