Two Natchez women arrested after chase
SUMMARY: Two Natchez women were arrested in connection with a shoplifting incident at a Walmart in Brookhaven. A police chase ensued, with the suspects being arrested after fleeing to Old Highway 84 near Roxie. 31-year-old Roquanta Green was charged with aggravated assault, felony fleeing, and possession of stolen property, with a $60,000 bond. 39-year-old Shannon White was charged with accessory after the fact, possession of stolen property, and giving false information, with a $26,000 bond. Both women were booked into the Lincoln County Jail.

Jackson Mayor addresses new downtown parking kiosk

Employee’s report leads Starkville police to burglary arrest
SUMMARY: In Starkville, Mississippi, an alert employee from Industrial Recyclers of Mississippi on Clark Road assisted the police in apprehending a burglary suspect.
