Tunnel to Towers Foundation pays off Deputy Malone’s mortgage
SUMMARY: After the death of George County Deputy Jeremy Malone, the community rallied to support his family. A GoFundMe page was set up to help his wife and daughters with expenses, and First Responders across the coast sought assistance from the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. The foundation has announced that it will pay off the mortgage on the Malones' home, allowing them to stay in the house. The foundation is funded by an annual Tunnel to Towers run and donations, and has helped over 200 fallen officers. Services for Deputy Malone will be held in George County with visitation on Thursday and the funeral on Friday.
In the days after George County Deputy Jeremy Malone was killed in the line of duty, the community reached out to help his family.
