Sweet Potato Queens attend events ahead of St. Paddy’s parade

SUMMARY: During the long event from Wednesday to Sunday, attendees enjoyed a big hat brunch at Drago's Seafood Restaurant, where they created unique hats for a parade. Boss Sweet Potato Jill Conner Brown mentioned each day is filled with events and prizes. Attendees will go shopping in Fondren, have a parade, car giveaway, sock hop, and pearls and PJs event. All the events during Sweet Potatoes Queen weekend will benefit the Children's of Mississippi, the state's only children's hospital where all children can receive treatment regardless of their situation.
