Shopping trip ends with shoplifting charges for Lee County women
SUMMARY: Two Lee County women were arrested in Tupelo after being caught shoplifting over $1,000 worth of merchandise. Marie Thomas from Mooreville was charged with felony shoplifting and her bond was set at $5,000, while Brandy Allred from Nettleton was charged with felony shoplifting and two counts of grand larceny. Allred was also identified as a suspect in two grand larceny cases from February. The incident took place at a business in the Barnes Crossing area, and the women were arrested by Tupelo police. The bond for Allred was set at $50,000.
