Severe storms possible Monday night – Home – WCBI TV
SUMMARY: Monday will bring active weather to NE Mississippi with gusty winds and thunderstorms expected. Wind gusts could exceed 40 mph, and a line of storms will move through the area in the evening with the main concern being damaging winds. Rainfall amounts are expected to be around 1-2 inches. The storms are projected to clear out by early Tuesday morning, with the rest of the week looking calmer. Temperatures will dip mid-week before rising back into the 70s and close to 80 degrees by next weekend. Stay weather aware during the nighttime storms and wait for them to pass before going to bed.
