Road work continues on Old Hwy. 11
SUMMARY: After the project begins, it should take at least six months to complete. Traffic delays can be expected in Lamar County for the next two weeks as crews continue paving roads as part of a widening project. Drivers should use caution and follow detours as necessary. Project Manager Jason Lamb encourages cooperation with local businesses and residents to minimize disruptions. Northbound traffic will be detoured onto Hegwood Road, while southbound traffic will alternate between lanes. The project is expected to wrap up by March 22nd.
