Preview of High School Football Championships
SUMMARY: The 2023 MHSAA Football State Championships will mark the first season featuring expansion to the 7A classification and will be held at Ole Miss's Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. MHSAA Executive Director Rickey Neaves expressed excitement for this milestone and gratitude for the partnerships that make the event possible. The championships will begin on November 30 with Class 1A and Class 5A, followed by Class 2A and Class 6A on December 1, and ending with Class 4A, Class 3A, and Class 7A on December 2. Hartfield Academy also won the MAIS 6A Football State Championship.
