Powerball prize grows to $900 million after no jackpot winner drawn
SUMMARY: The Powerball jackpot reached an estimated $900 million after no ticket matched the winning combination in Saturday's drawing. The top prize is the third largest in Powerball history and the seventh largest in U.S. lottery history. While there was no jackpot winner, three tickets matched all five white balls and are eligible to claim $1 million prizes. The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million, but the large prizes continue to draw more players. The jackpot will continue to grow until someone wins. Powerball is played in 45 states, as well as Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
