SUMMARY: Polls have closed for the primary run-off elections, and votes are slowly coming in from Hinds County. Poll workers reported a decent turnout for the state representative races but low turnout for the supervisors races in districts 4 and 5. There were some issues at the polls, with problems reported at Raymond Precincts 1 and 2, as well as Clinton Precinct 2. Voters were forced to cast affidavit ballots in the Democratic run-off race due to incorrect listings in the poll books, but the issue was eventually resolved.
