SUMMARY: The school district will have a staggered start for the new academic year. On Friday, students in grades K through 6 with last names beginning with A through L, as well as all 7th and 9th graders, will return to school. All other students will return on Monday, July 24th. This is the second year that Petal Schools will resume classes in July. The modified schedule allows for more breaks throughout the school year, which has been beneficial for staff and students. The school district will also provide Chromebooks for all students this year. Students will no longer be allowed to bring devices.
