No one wins Mega Millions; jackpot reaches $720 million
SUMMARY: The Mega Millions jackpot has reached an estimated $720 million after no one won in Tuesday's drawing. This is now the seventh-largest jackpot in Mega Millions history. The odds of winning are extremely slim at 1 in 302.6 million. The next drawing will be on Friday, and the jackpot can only be won through an annuity paid over 29 years. However, most winners choose the cash payout, which was estimated at $369.6 million. The largest-ever Mega Millions jackpot was $1.537 billion in 2018. The Powerball jackpot also remains unclaimed and stands at an estimated $1 billion.
