New weather radar being installed in Marion
SUMMARY: Lauderdale County and surrounding areas will soon have improved weather coverage with the addition of a new weather radar. The company ClimaVision is installing the new radar, which is near completion and will not cost taxpayers any money. The new addition will be able to pick up weather from 65 miles out in each direction. This new radar is a huge project and a source of excitement for the town and will enhance the quality of life for everyone in the area.
