Nettleton alderman remarks on dog attacks
SUMMARY: A 90-year-old girl was attacked by a stray dog outside her mother's home in Nettleton. This was the second time the girl had been attacked by a stray dog, with the first attack occurring a month ago. The father of the girl, who is also an Alderman, is calling for a change in the town's dog ordinance. He has received numerous phone calls from residents about stray dogs in the city. The city currently has two Animal Control Officers who can only work once a week, but the father is proposing changes to their schedules and the dog ordinance to address the issue. Additionally, another person in the town had a close encounter with a dog.
