MSU basketball’s KeShawn Murphy enters transfer portal
SUMMARY: Mississippi State men's basketball forward KeShawn Murphy, a 6-foot-10 native of Birmingham, Alabama, has entered the transfer portal after spending his entire career in Starkville. Murphy redshirted his freshman year and played the last two seasons under head coach Chris Jans. He averaged 4.7 points, 3.1 rebounds, and one assist per game in the 2023-24 season, missing time due to injury and personal reasons. Murphy's decision to transfer comes after a period of uncertainty surrounding his role on the team.
