Mother, acquaintance charged in brutal death of one-year-old

The child’s mother and her acquaintance, identified as Coleman, are currently facing charges, but the chief anticipates that these will be upgraded to capital murder pending the coroner’s report. The mother, Yolanda Hunter, and acquaintance Herman Coleman will both be charged with felony child abuse.
