Mistrial declared in William “Polo” Edwards case
SUMMARY: A mistrial has been declared in the trial of William “Polo” Edwards, who was accused of killing Robert Davis in May 2022. The mistrial was declared after the jury was unable to reach a unanimous decision. Edwards was arrested in New Orleans after a chase and was indicted for murder and being a felon in possession of a firearm. He pleaded not guilty. The trial began on August 28 and the mistrial was declared on August 29.
