Mississippi Insight for Nov. 12, 2023: Recapping the 2023 Governor’s Race
SUMMARY: Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves has secured a second term after a low-turnout election against challenger Brandon Presley. Reeves won with 52% of the vote, while Presley received 47%. Observations and analysis of the election were provided by Russ Latino, Senator John Horn, and former Republican Governor Haley Barbour. Family of Delta State student found hanging seeks answers

‘Little quiet light’: Family remembers Delta State University student found dead on campus
SUMMARY: The body of 21-year-old Demartravion “Trey” Reed, a Delta State University student, was found hanged from a tree near the pickleball courts on campus early Monday morning.
