How much should you water?
SUMMARY: Emily, a gardening expert, explains how to properly water plants. She advises watering early in the morning, aiming for the base of the plant to avoid powdery mildew. In the summer, plants may wilt due to heat, but this doesn't always mean they need water. A soil test with a finger can determine moisture levels. Raised beds help prevent overwatering. Frequency of watering depends on plant type and weather conditions. Emily emphasizes the importance of observing plant appearance and growth to determine watering needs, comparing it to addressing a human's needs for water. Overall, proper watering is crucial for plant health and growth.
