Memphis man arrested after Carroll County chase
SUMMARY: Carroll County deputies arrested a Memphis man after a high-speed chase during a safety checkpoint. The driver, Marcus Traylor, fled after deputies noticed a weapon in plain sight. Traylor lost control of the vehicle and hit a light pole, knocking out power to 1,000 customers. He was arrested and charged with felony possession of marijuana and the vehicle was found to be stolen. Another man, Cordarious Deshun McGee, was found with a severe arm injury after fleeing the scene and is expected to be charged. Marcus Traylor is booked into the Carroll Montgomery Regional Correctional Facility.

Two wanted for robbing Jackson business on Ellis Avenue
