Man tries to run after being sentenced for Jackson murder
SUMMARY: Harold Walker, Jr., was convicted of first-degree murder in connection to the death of Bryant Robinson and sentenced to life in prison. The shooting occurred as a result of road rage following a possible fender bender. After the sentencing, Walker attempted to run from the courthouse but was apprehended by authorities. In addition to the murder charge, he was also convicted of shooting into a vehicle and felony fleeing. The trial court ordered a consecutive five-year sentence for the shooting charge to be served alongside his life sentence.

Two wanted for Jackson double homicide
SUMMARY: Jackson police have issued arrest warrants for Bernard Brown, 54, and Delbrico Tims, 18, in connection to a double homicide on Capitol Street.
