Man identified, charged in Arkansas chase that ended with crash on I-55 in Mississippi
SUMMARY: 37-year-old Matthew Nemacheck of Wisconsin has been identified as the suspect arrested following a police chase that began in Arkansas and ended in Mississippi. Nemacheck is charged with Culpable Negligent Manslaughter and is being held on a $350,000 bond. During the chase, his vehicle collided head-on with a semi-truck on I-55, resulting in the death of the truck driver, 40-year-old Milan Alilovic of New York. The chase began when police were notified of a Dodge Ram with Wisconsin plates refusing to stop for authorities in Arkansas. Stopsticks were used to bring the vehicle to a halt before the crash occurred.
