Local girl Disney-bound after Make-A-Wish reveal
SUMMARY: A 3-year old girl named Alyvia, who has a rare heart condition called hypoplastic right heart syndrome, had her wish come true when she visited Disney World for her birthday. Alyvia has undergone several surgeries to help mitigate her condition, but her heart still only functions at half capacity. Despite this, Alyvia's class and First Baptist Church in Long Beach, Mississippi rallied together to raise money for her Make-A-Wish trip. Alyvia got to meet Cinderella and share in the celebration with her classmates. Alyvia's story serves as an inspiration to other heart failure survivors.
Alyvia Parker will soon be celebrating her 4th birthday thanks to Make-A-Wish Mississippi.
