LIVE: Shooting reported at Iowa high school

SUMMARY: Multiple enforcement agencies responded to reports of a shooting at Perry High School in Iowa on Thursday morning. The first reports came in around 7:40 a.m. and Iowa Troopers blocked off the surrounding streets, and ambulances were observed entering and leaving the area. Some had tearful reunions with . The high school is part of the Perry Community School District, with approximately 1,785 students. It was the students' first day back in school the break. Messages left with school were not immediately returned. Perry is located about 40 miles northwest of Des Moines.
