KFCU honors “2023 First Responder of the Year”
SUMMARY: The Secretary of State’s office has transferred almost $199 million to the Gulf Coast for the Taglines Fund. The fund is recognizing a heroic individual for their outstanding contribution to law enforcement. Keesler Federal Credit Union is honoring Sergeant Cody Gill, a first responder, as the recipient of the 2023 First Responder of the Year. Sergeant Gill is an officer with the Ocean Springs Police Department and has served the community for four years. He was presented with a plaque and monetary donation on behalf of Keesler. Sergeant Gill expressed his gratitude for the recognition.
Sgt. Gill says he is grateful for the acknowledgement of his hard work.

South Mississippi schools recognized for reading success
