JXN water asks residents to conserve water

SUMMARY: The Jackson Conservation is warning that they may have to turn off water later due to a 4 million gallon increase in usage caused by higher temperatures. This has put a strain on the 's water system, and are being asked to reduce their water usage. A spokesperson for JXN Water, Ameerah Palacios, stated that they will continue to monitor usage and ask residents to cut back, suggesting that people refrain from outdoor water usage such as washing cars.

The intense heat and drought is putting a strain on Jackson's water system.
