Jackson State students move from University Pointe after mold found
SUMMARY: Jackson State University students were relocated from University Pointe Apartments due to the discovery of mold. The university conducted routine inspections which resulted in positive mold tests in some units. The university is investigating the issue and will take necessary actions. All University Pointe residents have been reassigned for the rest of the semester. JSU officials emphasized their commitment to the safety and well-being of the students and thanked them for their cooperation as they work to minimize the disruption to their higher education experience. Additionally, a campus listening session was held at Alcorn State by IHL.
