Jackson activists speak out against crime
SUMMARY: Jackson activists are pushing for change in the city by hosting a ‘Stop the Violence' march to combat crime. The Betterman Society and Reset Jackson organized the march, which saw activists marching from the Medgar Evers National Monument to the Sunset Apartments, holding signs and chanting. Leaders from both organizations stressed the need to spread more love within the community. They are consistent in their efforts to bring about change and hope to see a cultural shift. These ministries plan to continue their work in the community to create a positive impact and bring about change.
