Interview: Eight Days of Hope founder discusses EDOHXX Amory project
SUMMARY: Eight Days of Hope is preparing to help families in Amry, Mississippi, who were affected by a tornado last year. Over 1,800 volunteers from 39 states and Canada will be assisting with various projects, such as repairing roofs, fences, and porches. The organization aims to bring hope and joy to the community during a difficult time. While volunteer sign-ups are closed, a free concert will be held on March 14th to raise funds for the families in need. Founder Steve Tyber encourages people to join the effort and experience the unique unity that comes from serving others.

18-year-old arrested for fatal shooting at Copiah County truck stop
SUMMARY: The Copiah County Sheriff's Office has captured 18-year-old Travian Miller, the suspect wanted for an armed robbery at a truck stop in Wesson that resulted in the death of Vincent Ratliff. Miller is also accused of carjacking a driver at the Martinsville exit of I55 in Wesson. He was apprehended in Tennessee.
