Hodge reacts to sheriff’s race
SUMMARY: Courtney Ann Jackson of WDAM made a difference in Tuesday's results, according to both analysts who point to Presley losing his home county and other parts of northeast Mississippi that he represented as PUC service commissioner as a factor in his loss. Antizzo believes the last-minute Trump endorsement went a long way in energizing Republican voters. In Jones County, Joe Berlin edged out Alex Hodge in the sheriff's race by less than 300 votes, although Hodge says he appreciates all the support and looks forward to the future. The day started with these results.
