SUMMARY: Last year, a tragic accident claimed the life of a mother and injured her three children when they were hit by a train after a July 4th celebration at Jones Park. To honor her legacy, family and friends are hosting a blood drive. Jessica Beard, an Account Manager for Vitalent, explains that the blood drive aids hospitals in the Southeast. All three children survived but needed blood transfusions. The event, called “Anette Win: A Mother’s Love,” takes place tomorrow from 1 to 7 PM at Empowerment Ministries in Gulfport, Mississippi. The drive is vital for saving lives, as blood donations are constantly needed.

To honor the legacy of a mother who lost her life after she and her three kids were hit by a train, her friends and family are hosting a blood drive.
