Future business leaders compete in Tupelo

SUMMARY: More than 800 high school and middle school students from nearly three dozen schools in Mississippi are in Tupelo this week for the Future Business Leaders of America state conference. The students will be competing in 56 different events with the top students moving on to the National Conference in Orlando this summer. It is a great opportunity for the students to showcase their skills and compete against the best in the state and eventually the nation. Awards day is tomorrow and the national competition will take place in July. The conference aims to prepare students for successful careers in the retail industry.

Some of Mississippi's best and brightest future retail experts are competing in Tupelo this week.

Man arrested in standoff on Cooper Rd.
