Foster Grandparents Program of the Pine Belt seeking volunteers
SUMMARY: The Pine Belt Seniors celebration takes place at 6:30 tonight at the Jackson Convention Complex. The event highlights volunteer opportunities, including the Foster Grandparent Program, which aims to support and assist children in the classroom. Grannies who volunteer for this program receive a stipend for their service and mileage. To be eligible, volunteers must be 55 years or older, physically and mentally capable, have income eligibility, and care about children reaching their full potential.
