SUMMARY: Areas of significant flooding are possible in central Mississippi on Thursday due to heavy rain. On Friday, there will be widespread rain and storms in the afternoon, with highs near 90 degrees. The weekend will also see storms in the afternoons with temperatures in the low 90s. Next week, temperatures may reach the middle 90s as a ridge takes shape, reducing rain chances.

Man wanted for January 2024 homicide in Jackson
