Finalists announced for 2023 C Spire Conerly Trophy
SUMMARY: The 10 finalists for the 2023 C Spire Conerly Trophy, recognizing Mississippi's top college football player, have been announced, with the winner to be revealed on November 28 at the Country Club of Jackson. The contestants include QB Aaron Allen from Alcorn State, RB Kolbe Blunt from Belhaven, QB Patrick Shegog from Delta State, RB Irv Mulligan from Jackson State, P Ethan Klapatch from Millsaps, RB Marcus Williams from Mississippi College, LB Bookie Watson from Mississippi State, C Rondey Luckett from Mississippi Valley State, 2022 winner RB Quinshon Judkins from Ole Miss, and RB Frank Gore Jr. from Southern Miss. The award is named after Charlie Conerly, an Ole Miss legend and Hall of Famer.
