Feed My Sheep serves Thanksgiving feast to coast’s homeless
SUMMARY: Support for local communities is vital, and “Feed My Sheep” is living up to this creed. This organization provides for a large portion of South Mississippi's homeless population by offering a home-cooked Thanksgiving meal, which comes with traditional Thanksgiving fixings. This gesture of kindness extends a sense of family to those in need, regardless of their living situation or having nearby relatives to celebrate with. Triana Alexander, once homeless, now reflects on her journey and feels blessed to give back. Volunteers play a crucial part, as 150 of them help to make such events happen, serving the community with joy and keeping spirits high.
All are welcome at Feed My Sheep, the group proving you don't have to live under a roof or have a family nearby in order to celebrate Thanksgiving.

Mindfulness meditation, in particular, encourages staying present and focusing on the moment, which can prevent rumination and negative thought patterns. Expert Talk with The Window Source of the Gulf Coast, Cye Young
SUMMARY: Today on WXX Expert Talk, host Michelle Eubank welcomes S Young from The Window Source Gulf Coast to discuss the importance of having hurricane-resistant windows on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. S Young explains that homes in the area need to meet a design pressure of around dp50 to withstand 200 mph winds. Many homes still have old aluminum windows that do not meet this standard. The Window Source Gulf Coast offers specials on new windows, including impact glass and hurricane-resistant options like fabric shield or hurricane shutters.
