Please join the TRANS Program, Campaign for Southern Equality, authors including Nico Lang, Alexis Stratton, Jasmine Beach-Ferrara and Adam Polaski and Attorney Sarah Schnaithman of The Law Firm, Bufete Legal for a very special Book Event on Sunday, May 18th 1PM – 5PM at the Gulf Coast Center for Nonviolence at 213 Porter Ave in Biloxi, MS. This is an official stop as part of the “Trans Kids, Our Kids Tour” by Campaign for Southern Equality.
This event will highlight two books about transgender young people! Meet with the teams behind Trans Kids, Our Kids: Stories and Resources from the Frontlines of the Movement for Transgender Youth and American Teenager. Trans Kids, Our Kids is co-written by team members from the Campaign for Southern Equality, a leader in the work to protect trans youth and their families across the South and, through the Trans Youth Emergency Project, nationwide. American Teenager is written by the incredible author, Nico Lang, a nonbinary award-winning journalist with over a decade of experience covering the transgender community’s fight for equality.
