Keyrus A.T.G (Against The Grain) of Jackson, Mississippi derives from a family of artists. His mother is a choir director, his father was a minister and lead guitarist, his grandfather was the pastor and renowned skilled guitarist, and Keyrus developed a phenomenal skill with singing and playing the drums. He was originally identified by his grandmother and church members at age 10 as a vocalist. They compared the strength and power of his voice to that of a lion. Keyrus soon became a soloist and united with a church band called “Related”. His voice is seductive and captures the attention of anyone in the room. It has a soothing antidote that emancipates your inner peace. Keyrus became adventurous and exhibited his voice for the world to appreciate. He performed at special events, parties, and clubs with his R&B band, “Heart and Soul,” featuring his Uncle Tony on the guitar. The young vocalist toured the U.S.A and Canada as the drummer for Jarekus Singleton’s band. He has a plethora of gifts writing music, recording soul music, and entertaining.
