Downtown Gulfport gets artistic makeover ahead of Cruisin’ the Coast

SUMMARY: Jamie is being told that they will like the fall forecast, and that they should go to South Mississippi to see local artist Brie Mayfield’s artwork. Brie created paintings on an old drugstore building and a golf board to provide a great backdrop for visitors. She was inspired by the sunset and incorporated animals into her artwork. Brie hopes that her artwork will help the community and provide a fun interactive experience. Visitors can take pictures in front of the artwork as a souvenir to take home.

Local artist Brie Mayfield brings color to the old Triplett Day Drug Store building in downtown Gulfport- just in time to welcome Cruisers.
