‘Dawson Horn As Elvis’ event to benefit St. Jude

SUMMARY: The Saint Jude fundraiser concert is happening soon, featuring a 12-year-old Elvis impersonator named Dawson Horn. The concert will include a full 26-song Elvis impersonation show at the Magnolia Civic Center in New Albany. The event is scheduled for this Saturday at 7 PM. Dawson became interested in Elvis after his dad listened to his music and his granddad played 60s music during car rides. This will be Dawson’s first real impersonation show, and he is excited to be performing for such a good cause. The concert is being held to raise funds for Saint Jude, as a couple of local girls and Dawson’s cousin have been affected by the illness. Dawson will be singing and doing talking impersonations of Elvis during the show.
