After a successful nine-win season and playoff appearance in 2022, the team is looking to go even further under new leadership. With a new coaching staff comes a new playbook, and Coach Pennick’s main goal over the summer was to get everyone on the same page. The team has more than 20 seniors and over a dozen returning starters, but they are adjusting to the new system and coaching style. Senior players Gavin Brown and Jaquan Payton are both optimistic about the team’s progress and are focused on setting a good example and bringing energy to practice. The Admirals will kick off their season against Goshen in the Port City Bowl.
