Cold Case: Who is Miss Wiggins
SUMMARY: In 1980, the skeletal remains of a woman known as Miss Wiggins were found in Stone County, Mississippi. The victim had been murdered and her identity remains unknown. Detectives are using modern forensic technology to solve the 40-year-old cold case. The victim was found with her hands and feet tied with twine, partially wrapped in plastic bags, and had dental work done. A DNA profile is being built to identify her, with forensic analysis revealing she may be of Brazilian and Syrian or Lebanese descent. Family genealogy websites are being used to identify her, as authorities hope to bring closure to the victim's family after decades of uncertainty.
